Det bliver en blanding af rock n' roll, coutnry og bluegrass når australske Kingswood besøger Stengade d. 15 maj, support på aftenen bliver Ravnebjerg.

Kingswood:
KINGSWOOD are an award winning four-piece good times country and good times rock'n'roll band from Melbourne Australia. Kingswood’s evolution from rock to country has been both gradual and judicious. After releasing a twangy reimagining of their 2020 album Juveniles in the form of Reveries, the Melbourne quartet fully embraced al-country on 2023’s Home. Just eight months later, they’ve gone a step further with the sparse and story-driven bluegrass of The Tale of G,C, Townes, which has received four 2025 Golden Guitar Award Nominations including Traditional Country Album of the Year, Bluegrass Recording of the Year and Toyota Album of the Year.

Ten years and seven studio albums on, Kingswood remain one of Australia’s hardest working bands playing festivals nationally and playing with acts like ACDC, Aerosmith to touring the US and Europe.

Ravnebjerg:
Ravnebjerg is a 25-year-old artist from Hedehusene who plays music with power and tradition. His debut EP "Songs For My Favorite People", which was partly financed by Kodakultur, was released on April 5, 2024 and presents a strong range of songs in the blues-country-rock genre. The lyrical universe revolves around the close relationships in life and celebrates both the successes and downfalls that must come with it. Ravnebjerg will be in the studio during the first half of 2025 to record for his next release.

With a firm grip on the guitar, Ravnebjerg delivers an explosive set of hard-hitting, original songs that have deep roots in blues, rock and country. With the live expression of rock music, the riffs of blues music and the choir voices and lyrics of country music, the 25-year-old artist lets his love for music explode through thundering drums, crystal clear choir voices, roaring organ and his raw voice. Strap in, hang in there and surrender to real, hand-played music.
