Dear member of the association Spillestedet Stengade

Following the General Assembly on April 12, a new Chairperson, treasurer and two ordinary Board Members got elected, which however means the association Spillestedet Stengade is still in need of additional two Board Members and 2-5 substitutes, according to the Articles of Association, in order to fulfil the obligations of the Board.

Therefore, we hereby invite you to an Extraordinary General Assembly at Spilletstedet Stengade on May 2 2023 at 18.30. Please come when the doors open at 18.00 so we can register all arriving members and proxies. If you are prevented from participating physically, you can give a power of attorney to another member (one power of attorney per member). The power of attorney can be found below.

Agenda for the Extraordinary General Assembly:
- Appointment of Conductor
- Appointment of Taker of Minutes
- Election of Board Members and Substitutes
- Any other business

As stated in the article of association, the Extraordinary General Assembly has to be called 14 days ahead of it taking place. Additionally, the deadline for applying to become a Board Member or Substitute is eight ( days before the Extraordinary General Assembly, which is April 24 2023. Applications for a position as Board Member or Substitute has to be submitted to bestyrelse@stengade.dk.

As a board member, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our venue, our community, and the people we serve. You will work alongside a supportive team, gain valuable experience, and make lifelong connections. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about music, dedicated to our community, and willing to put in the time and effort to help us achieve our goals. Whether you have experience in nonprofit organizations, music promotion, fundraising, or other related fields, we believe that your unique skills and perspectives can help us achieve our mission. Ordinary Board Members and Substitutes are elected for a 1-year period. Notice that 1/3 of the Board must consist of active volunteers from the association Spillestedet Stengade.
