Gør dig klar til at skyde Vinterjazz 2025 i gang med stil på Spillestedet Stengade med en aften med uforglemmelig livemusik, levende energi og dans til daggry! 🎉 Forestil dig, at du er i kælderen på natklubben La Mamouniai i Marrakesh i år 1971…. Dette er ikke en hvilken som helst jazzaften – det er en fejring af musik, kultur og en helt ny vinylpladeudgivelse, der får dig til at groove fra start til slut.

Koncerten er en del af Vinterjazz Festival.

Main Act:
We’re beyond excited to welcome Debre Damo Dining Orchestra to the stage! Founded by the saxophonist Søren Lyhne Skov and organist Peder Mertner Vind, this powerhouse ensemble is bringing a unique blend of ethio jazz, afrobeat, and experimental sounds to Spillestedet Stengade. The night will also mark the release of their 4th vinyl record, and trust us—you’ll want to be the first to get your hands on it!

To get things rolling, the evening kicks off with the ET Tumason - Straight out of Fagradalsfjall (but living in Copenhagen) this Icelandic artist will hypnotize you and keep your feet tapping to the heavy heavy tunes of Deltablues. This is the perfect warm-up for the madness to come! 🎸

After Party:
And the fun doesn’t stop there. After the last note fades, we’re turning up the heat with an after party featuring the DJs from the Worldy DJ Collective, known for playing exclusively non-western music on vinyl at their epic parties at Bolsjefabrikken. Expect a mix of afrobeat, jazz, funk, and hip-hop and much more, perfect for dancing like there’s no tomorrow. 🕺💃
