Det bliver queer club rock latexpisk, der rammer dansegulvet når UBLU fejrer udgivelsen af deres kommende single 'Portals' på Stengade d. 6 december!

Bandet består af Adam Spanggaard Saarup, Andreas Darger, Marie Rørbæk og Martina Nielsen, der alle har rødder i rockens verden, men forener de kantede guitarriffs og dunkende basgange med klubmusikkens puls. Samtidig elsker de poppens greb om de iørefaldende omkvæd, hvor ingen følelser er for store. Det er slagkraftigt, dansabelt og catchy som ind i helvede!

UBLU udgav deres første EP i 2022 og deltog til Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024 med ’Planetary Hearts’; en sang om »at mærke en længsel efter noget, som man ikke nødvendigvis ved, hvad er – så det eneste, man kan gøre, er at springe ud i galaksen«. De vender nu storslået tilbage med singlen ‘Portals’, der bliver startskuddet på udgivelsen af bandets anden EP.

UBLU is the sound of a latex whip hitting the dance floor! The sound of a disco ball filled with cracks! The sound of having the biggest party imaginable - like a rebellion against everyone there says you don't belong!

The band consists of Adam Spanggaard Saarup, Andreas Darger, Marie Rørbæk and Martina Nielsen, who all have roots in the world of rock, but combine the angular guitar riffs and pounding bass passages with the pulse of club music. At the same time, they love pop's grip on the catchy choruses where no emotion is too great. It's punchy, danceable and catchy as hell!

UBLU released their first EP in 2022 and has recently participated in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024 with 'Planetary Hearts', a song about "feeling a longing for something that you don't necessarily know what is - so the only thing you can do is jump into the galaxy". The band now makes its glorious return with the single ‘Portals’, ushering in a new era for their second EP.
