Underground legends Strychnos who are hot on the heels of their debut full length with great reviews from the likes of Thomas Treo (Ekstrabladet) will rip Stengade into pieces with their brutal and extreme metal on the 10th of march, joining them are Dead Void and Chaotian.

Dark Descent Records proudly presents "A Mother’s Curse" - the longawaited
debut full-length of Danish extreme metal veterans. Formed in 1997 by Martin Leth Andersen (also of Undergang fame), STRYCHNOS might just be the Danish underground’s best kept secret.
"A Mother’s Curse" is the product of a craft perfected over 25-years of toil, a true celebration of extreme metal mastery that surpasses all genre limitations.
“We are proud to finally present eight tracks of pitch-black death metal tragedy as it was always intended to be: Dark, atmospheric, brutal, and tragic!” exclaims Andersen.
The intricately sculpted compositions shift seamlessly between moods of terror, hope, and tragedy, building a momentous atmosphere rarely achieved in this day and age. Add to this the inventive riffing and bone-shattering vocals of the highest order and the result is "A Mother’s Curse". The truly complete work is wrapped in a stunning cover by the inimitable Daniel Corcuera: The chilling motif is based on Danish sculptor Niels Hansen Jacobsen’s statue "Death and the Mother" from 1892, depicting a young woman in the moment of ultimate tragedy. Jacobsen was inspired by the ending of "The tale of a Mother", a story written in 1847 by famous author Hans Christian Andersen: "And Death walked with her child into the unknown
land."

Eschewing trends and recklessly treading their own mysterious path, Dead Void takes you on an unpredictable journey into the murky depths of psychological terror; a slow, punishing descent may at any moment give way to a wild, unhinged assault. Firmly rooted in the more obscure classics, this is a band that appreciates dynamics and confidently plays things their own way without compromise.
Until now, the band has officially released only ‘The Looming Spectre’ demo tape back in 2018, give or take an obscure rehearsal tape or two. After selling out multiple times, the demo tape was re-released collaboratively by Dark Descent Records in the US and Me Saco Un Ojo Records in the UK. With these labels behind them, the band now finally presents their debut album. More details will follow in good time.

Chaotian:
Formed in the summer of 2017, Chaotian is the newest addition to the Extremely Rotten family hailing from Kill-town. The band started their sonic devastation with the well-received demo ‘Where Gods Excarnate’ recorded with the help of Tuna (Phrenelith, Hyperdontia, Sulphurous) that many have placed among the top demos of 2018. The following year the band released their second demo ‘Festering Carcinolith’ that showcased a more focused and experienced death metal sound. With inspirations from bands like Immolation, Demilich, Blood Incantation and Infester, Chaotian exists only to bring riff-heavy, crushing death metal of the old vein back to life. The band recently released both demos on ‘Festering Excarnation’ through the unholy trinity of Dark Descent Records, Me Saco Un Ojo and Extremely Rotten Production.
