By exploring the evolution of the human species, NEPTUNIAN MAXIMALISM question the future of the living on Earth, propitiating a feeling of acceptance for the conclusion of the so called "anthropocene" era and preparing us for the incoming “probocene” era, imagining our planet ruled by superior intelligent elephants after the end of humanity.

Belgium's NEPTUNIAN MAXIMALISM (aka NNMM) is a community of “cultural engineers” with a variable line-up, mixing drone metal with spiritual free jazz and psychedelic music. The project was initiated in 2018 by multi-instrumentalist Guillaume Cazalet (Czlt, Jenny Torse, Aksu), who brought together veteran saxophonist Jean Jacques Duerinckx (Ze Zorgs) and two drummers, Sebastien Schmit (K-Branding) and Pierre Arese (Aksu). In 2020, Stephane FDL and Lukas Bouchenot took the drums. Reshma Goolamy (bass), Romain Martini (guitar), Alice Thiel (synths, guitar), Joaquin Bermudez (saz, setar), Didié Nietzche (soundscapes) joined in 2019, thus changing the band into a real drone orchestra.

Since their last performance at the Roadburn Redux (2021), the collective now purpose several piece of work consisting in various line-ups and multiple sound/space explorations, depending on the venue conditions, like their «Moon Arkestra» (Roadburn line-up), their «Drone Arkestra» (quintet) or their "Solar Drone Arkestra" for exemple. In this way they can maximize their musical researches, following the rules of improvised music consisting in unexpected things.

Uraño is a Copenhagen based harsh-noise rock duo featuring amplified drum set and distorted bass guitar. The duo’s compositions are played with a raw punk-like energy, elevating the distorted cacophony and achieving a stomach-punching, yet cleansing sensation.

The duo has toured extensively in Denmark, Norway, Poland and Germany since 2016, before making the trip to Japan in 2018 to perform in the underground venues of Tokyo. Their European tour in 2019 brought them to Switzerland and Italy, bringing their total number of performances up to more than 60 shows in 10 different countries.

In september of 2018 they released their self-titled debut album on CD. Since then the duo has released three split cassettes in collaboration with HAMRE, Haram and BEEATSZ v2.0999u. In 2021 the second album Barrage was released through uranoduo.com where it can be freely streamed and downloaded.
