Når det gælder metal, har Polen altid være mest kendt for deres døds og blackmetal bands, men nu er deres stoner/doom scene kommet stærkt på banen og har høstet interessante stoner og doom bands de sidste år. En af dem er de intergalatiske space doomsters Spaceslug som netop spiller sin første koncert i Danmark når de gæster Stengade den 28 februar.
Desuden byder vi på Thunderwhip fra Esbjerg og deres heavy metal tordnende doom samt instrumentale kosmiske doomy lydskaber tilberedt af CB3 fra malmø!

Spaceslug;
Intergalactic Supermassive Stoner Doom Space from Wrocław (Poland). The interstellar journey began in 2015 through the clouds of dust and memories of infinity. They came blasting through the speakers with their debut full length album Lemanis in 2016.
Spaceslug is a project of musicians from two local bands: Palm Desert and Legalize Crime. It is one big interstellar journey, that brings you the heavy sounds of cosmic mass. ThunderWhip:
ThunderWhip er vestjysk hegn med tyngde, bid og charme.
Besætningen er tre kammerater som har kendt hinanden
personligt og musikalsk, siden start-halvfemserne. Bandet
blev dannet i 2015 og samme år kom demo'en Bloodsucker.
De var i efteråret aktuelle med debutpladen, Forevers End,
som de stolte er rundt og præsentere på landets spillesteder.
Trioen spiller tordentung heavy metal/stoner doom, eller
bare thunderdoom, med rock'n'roll elementer og har tjent
sig et godt ”live-ry” rundt i landet, hvor de tidligere har delt
scene med bl.a. amerikanske Crowbar.

Charlottas Burnin' Trio (CB3) is an instrumental rock trio from Malmö, Sweden.
With cosmic jams, heavy doomy riffing and epic soundscapes they have attracted the audience from both jazzclubs, rockvenues and psychfestivals since 2013. 
Not too long ago a jazz trio, CB3 have turn their interest towards instrumental progressive rock infused with psychedelic vibes from the 70’s, that blends their passion for improvisation with the inspiration drawn from bands like Led Zeppelin, King Crimson & Pink Floyd.

January 2018 saw the release of their latest album "From Nothing to Eternity" through Lazy Octopus (Scandinavia) and Eggs in Aspic (UK). Additionally, Drone Rock Records (UK) released it on vinyl in May 2018. 
It has been met with a chorus of praise, leading to the tapes and the coloured vinyl being sold out a month prior to the respective formats actual release dates.
