Rock n' roll fever with South Of Sundays
South Of Sundays will be bringing their rock to Stengade on June 4th, they bring rock n’ roll band Lady and Sunraker with them as support.
Lady is a new Rock n' Roll band from Copenhagen, the style is raw and has a solid base from classic rock and blues while the listener still is met with a hard-hitting "in your face" sound of wild guitars and a raw unpolished vocal from our female lead singer
Sunraker is an alt-rock quartet blending the nostalgic drive of 80’s darkwave with atmospheric shoegaze.
OTOOTO return to Stengade for Vinterjazz 2025
We look forward to OTOOTO playing Stengade once more during Vinterjazz Festival 2025. Last time was completely sold out so don’t think about it for too long.
Comprised of some of Denmark’s most prominent young musicians, Copenhagen’s groundbreaking neo-jazz quintet OTOOTO refers to their innovative blend of jazz tradition and modern indie-pop as ‘homeshake meets jazz messengers’. Their new release marks a new chapter in their journey and reflects a bold, mature artistic vision that promises to cement their place on the Scandinavian contemporary jazz scene.
Drawing inspiration from everything from 70s rock and European church music to the groundbreaking sounds of Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis, the five musicians – led by trumpeter Jonas Due and saxophonist Oilly Wallace – themselves describe their sound as “a roaring garden of analog synths and velvety horns”.
Support by Blåly.
Driving drum grooves, hypnotic piano patterns and ethereal timbres from bowed double bass craft a stripped back sound world that is simple, immersive, spacious and honest. Blåly is a young trio motivated by the transformative powers of music, with a sound rooted in collaboration and community. Combining gentle lyrical melodies and colorful melancholic harmony, Blåly perform and interpret each piece with a mature and textural sound palette, drawing on elements of musical poetry, jazz, folk, Nordic and Classical traditions.

Americans Finom to make DK debut at Stengade
American Alternative indie rock pop act Finom to play their first DK show at Stengade on January 30th!
There’s an obvious chemistry emanating throughout Finom’s (formerly known as Ohmme) music that’s so tangible it can only come from a decades-spanning friendship. Songwriters Sima Cunnningham and Macie Stewart formed their unbreakable bond performing throughout the fringes of Chicago’s many interlocking communities, collaborating with titans from the city’s indie rock, hip-hop, and improvised worlds. But together they’ve stretched the boundaries of what guitar music can do.
