Queer Music Agency showcase night on the 30th of August!

QMA presents Elijah Kashmir and FreddyQ at an evening full of electronic mixed pop and rap.
It’s all happening on the 30th of August!

Queer Music Agency (QMA) is a music company that focuses on diversity by e.g. only to represent queer artists within various genres.

Elijah Kashmir is a Palestinian artist and gender bender based in Copenhagen.
Their musical universe is a reflection of the hardships Kashmir has been through since being disowned as a teenager for identifying as queer.

FreddyQ is a provocative artist from Denmark who makes honest and fearless rap music about his life and experiences. As a gay man who spent six years serving in the army, he knows what it means to stand up for himself. As much as he makes fun and sexy music that reverses the typical expectations of rap by writing about men and queer relationships, he also makes music that confronts the listener to face their prejudices, especially if those prejudices are internal.

With the formation of The Chains, Denmark has gained a new supergroup within the Jamaican genres of reggae and ska. The members count three generations of ska and reggae connoisseurs, some have been active since the early 80s while others came in the 90s and 00s. They come from acts such as Trolle//Siebenhaar, Napoleon Solo, Fall Back Down and Von Dü.
They first got together last year to pay tribute to Terry Hall, the charismatic lead singer of The Specials, who died far too early in December 2022, and was subsequently paid tribute at a sold-out memorial concert at Loppen in February 2023.
