Vi inviterer til en aften med post-punk og darkwave musik når svenske A Projection kommer forbi sammen med Abu Nein fra Malmø.

A Projection:
The Stockholm based band A PROJECTION started in 2013 with the ambition to be a true dark wave/post punk band. The main influences was, from the beginning, groups like The Cure, Joy Division/New Order, Sisters of Mercy, Interpol and Editors. Electronic acts like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, D.A.F. and The Knife etc have also been important Influences.

The group’s sound has been described as “a danceable mixture of darkwave/post punk and eighties-style electronic music, with both depth and edge”.

A PROJECTION have previously released three full length albums, for Tapete Records and Metropolis Records, and will release their fourththe 18 November this year. All albums have received very good reviews, with grades alternating between 4 and 5 on a 5-point scale.

The band has been touring since 2013 and have e.g. been appearing on festivals like Amphi Festival, Autumn Moon Festival, BatFiSH Festival, Dark Spring Festival - 2 times (headlining), Devilstone Festival, Extramuralhas Festival, Minicave-Festival (headlining), Mörk Stad, NCN - 3 times (headlining), Oakfield Festival, Owls 'n' Bats Festival (headlining), Plage Noire Festival, Salafestivalen, Subkultfestivalen, Wavefest, Wave-Gotik-Treffen and Wilwarin Festival.

At Wave-Gotik-Treffen they played at a full VOLKSPALAST (Kuppelhalle) with 2 000 people attending, even though it was quite early in the day.

They have played in several countries: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Sweden doing separate shows together with bands like Girls Under Glass, Agent Side Grinder, Then Comes Silence and Wires & Lights.

Their last tour, including a gig at Music und Frieden and 10 other shows, together with Wires & Lights, was sold out.

It has so far never happened that new audiences has not been quite positively surprised by A PROJECTION’s performance, so get the audience to the venue and the rest will be taken care of!
